The Adventures of Honey Bunny, as told by Honey Bunny
I had the most exciting week you could ever imagine - I mean "for reals." It started out by enjoying some warmish weather outside. We were exploring the yard and found a large basket. We could not resist the temptation to climb in. Surprisingly, the basket started to float up in the sky! Before we knew it, we were up so high, it was too late to jump. It turned out to be a hot air balloon. It floated into space, and as we were all crying, thinking we wouldn't see WEE school again, as magically as it floated up, it started to come back down. The up and down was a long journey, and we did not come close to the ground until the next day. Unfortunately, we got stuck in some power lines. Someone was walking their dog, saw us, and we were rescued. They threw their sneakers at us and we became dislodged from the power line and safely landed...in The Summer. Summer is a beautiful place, with fireflies, rainbows, and lazy pool days. Alas, after spending another whole day there, we thought we'd better find our way back. Our families were certainly worried by then. During the weekend, we had a play date with some fairies and ate ice cream for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is with utmost despair that I say, "Adieu" to the Reeds for giving me the best adventure ever.
The above details are, in fact, not at all correct. The real truth is, I sat in a deep, dark corner and no one touched me. I had to be found at the end of the week. There will be no photos of me in this journal with Josie.
